The McIntosh Memorial Library is finalizing plans for two upcoming teen programs during the month of July. A Teen Jewelry Creating Workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1. While a Teen Escape Room Challenge will be hosted at the library on Friday, July 25.
Youth Services Director Emilia Jury, “We’ve spent a significant amount of time speaking with our teen patrons about what kind of programs they want offered through their public library. We received a lot of great ideas and are pleased to provide two programs specific to teens during the month of July.”
Beaded Expression: Teen Jewelry Workshop will be held inside the library program room on Tuesday, July 1 from 10:00am-11:00am. Participants will have the opportunity to create jewelry pieces by learning new beading techniques. The program will be taught by Emilia Jury.
Museum Heist: A Teen Escape Room is scheduled for Friday, July 25 from 4:45pm-6:00pm. Teens will be tasked with working together to solve clues and escape the museum before time expires.
Registration for both programs is required as materials and space are limited. To register visit www.mcintoshmemoriallibrary.org Both programs are designed for teens 13-18.
