McIntosh Memorial Library is calling on the community to help support local students through the annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive, taking place from Tuesday, July 1 through Tuesday, July 15.

As families prepare for the upcoming school year, the library invites community members to think of their neighbors while shopping. Donations of specific school supplies will help ensure Vernon County students start the year prepared and confident. A list of items needed can be found on the library’s website under the Services tab, listed as Stuff the Bus.
“Our goal is to provide exactly what students need to succeed,” said Maggie Strittmater, library staff member and drive coordinator. “We understand people want to help, and sticking to the supply list helps us meet real, identified needs.”
Donations may be dropped during regular library hours at McIntosh Memorial Library, 205 South Rock Avenue, Viroqua. Look for the yellow wagon inside the library:
· Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
· Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
· Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
· Sunday: Closed
The goal of the Stuff the Bus program is simple yet powerful: to ensure that every student—from Pre-K to High School—starts the year with the supplies they need to succeed.
Those interested in donating outside of the designated dates or hours are encouraged to contact Maggie Strittmater directly at 608-637-7151 x 7 or m.strittmater@wrlsweb.org.
