Family & Children’s Center to host ‘Partners In Wellness Fair’ to bring fun, mental health awareness to Viroqua

June 2, 2025

Family & Children’s Center (FCC), along with the support of several organizations in and around Vernon County, are ready to welcome community members to the 2nd annual FCC & Partners In Wellness Fair coming June 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Eckhart Park (499 West Decker Street, Viroqua).

This free event for all ages will be an opportunity for community members to celebrate FCC and our wellness partners. See the people behind the business by stopping by our vendor booths for activities, information, and giveaways. It’s a great opportunity to come together, enjoy a range of activities, and learn about the ways that FCC continues to improve the lives of people living in Vernon County. Come hungry, leave happy. Melty, mouthwatering sandwiches and more are available from Noble Rind Cheese Company and Mr. B’s Smokehouse Meats. After a satisfying meal, satiate your sweet tooth with complimentary ice cream, Hillsboro Brewing root beer, or a MacroBar.

It’s fun for all ages! Bounce around in the inflatables from KG Party Rentals, get blown away with Balloons by Kevin, and see a new side of yourself with a caricature from Jason Gerke. Groove to live music from James Fuller & Tracy Mangold and stomp your feet to Whiskey Chiken. Aspiring artists are invited to create their next masterpiece at our crafts table or become the subject themselves with a visit to the face painting station. There’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Thank you to our Lead Sponsors who support FCC programming in Vernon County: Vernon Memorial Healthcare, Viroqua Area Foundation, Organic Valley, and Viroqua Dental Center.

Thank you to our event Table Sponsors: Emplify Health by Gundersen, Haelen Mental Health, Nelson Global, Peoples State Bank, Slama Equipment, Sleepy Hollow Auto, VernonCom, Vernon Electric Cooperative, Vernon Women’s Alliance, and Vosseteig Funeral Home.
