VIROQUA, WI – Get your costumes ready and your treat bags handy. The Viroqua Chamber is hosting Trick-or-Treat at the Fairgrounds on Friday, October 31 from 3:00–5:00 p.m. — and everyone is invited.
This free, family-friendly (and all-ages-welcome!) event turns the Vernon County Fairgrounds into a Halloween wonderland, filled with candy, creative costumes, and community spirit. Local businesses, organizations, and neighbors will line the fairgrounds with decorated trunks, booths, and tables ready to hand out treats and smiles.
“We were delightedly surprised with the response and turn out of trick-or-treating taking place at the Fairgrounds last year due to the Main Street construction, it was a no-brainer to have it back there” said Allyson Servais, Executive Director of the Viroqua Chamber. “It’s a chance for families, businesses, and community members of all ages to come together for some lighthearted fun — and maybe a little friendly competition for best booth! We are so grateful to have a location that is safe, accommodating, and inclusive. We also are thrilled to have Sleepy Hollow Auto Group become the official sponsor of our Trick-or Treat event! We are excited to see what they have in-store for us this year!”
Participation is open to everyone — no registration is needed to hand out candy or set up a trunk or booth. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to show off their spooky creativity, with the Best Trunk/Booth Setup awarded the first annual “Spooky Spot” award!
