
CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. – Crawford County Crime Stoppers looking for public’s help in identifying a vehicle they believe was involved in a hit and run traffic accident on State Highway 35 earlier this week.
A Crime Stoppers report states that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated a hit and run traffic crash on State Highway 35 north of Frenchman’s Landing in the township of Eastman. According to the report an unknown vehicle traveling south between 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13 and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14 and crashed into an enclosed trailer in a construction zone. The suspect vehicle is believed to have sustained heavy front-end damage as chrome vehicle parts were recovered at the scene.
