McIntosh Memorial Library to offer a two part class intro to the ukulele

McIntosh Memorial Library has announced a new adult program—Intro to the Ukulele, a two-part beginner class—to be held on Saturday, March 8 and Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the library’s program room.

This two-part class, led by CJ Trussoni, is designed for beginners who are eager to explore the world of ukulele playing. No prior experience is needed, and ukuleles will be provided to all participants. In this hands-on class, attendees will learn the fundamentals of the ukulele, including basic chords, strumming techniques, and how to jam out with ease. By the end of the session, participants will have the skills and knowledge to continue playing the ukulele long after the class concludes.

Whether you’re picking up a ukulele for the first time or looking to build upon basic skills, this class offers an engaging and fun introduction to the instrument. Bring your enthusiasm, and leave with the tools to keep your musical journey going!
