McIntosh Memorial Library to host candy exchange

Oct. 30, 2025

Get ready for a sweet post-Halloween treat at the McIntosh Memorial Library in Viroqua. Between November 3 – November 8, 2025, youth ages 0-17 are invited to bring their leftover Halloween candy to the library’s front desk and trade it in for something special.

What you can exchange candy for:

· 5 pieces of candy earns a scratch and sniff bookmark

· 10 pieces of candy earns a library pencil

· 20 pieces of candy earns a prize book

“We enjoy hosting the annual Candy Exchange as the number of participants continues to grow. The Exchange allows youth to still participate in Trick or Treating activities knowing they can donate the candy to the library to earn a different type of treat” said Library Director Trina Erickson. For more information, please visit www.mcintoshmemoriallibrary.org, like the “Viroqua library” page on Facebook or call 608-637-7151.
