Viroqua’s McIntosh Memorial Library welcomes new Adult Programming and Outreach Coordinator

Aug. 30, 2025

We’re so pleased to welcome April Anderson to the team as our new Adult Programming and Outreach Coordinator. April brings a wealth of knowledge to the position as she spent several years working at the Sparta Free Library and most recently as an Outreach Specialist with UW-Madison Division of Extension.

You’ll be able to meet April while attending our adult programs. She will continue offering popular programs like Tabletop Takeover, Bring Your Own Book Club, a monthly program with the Vernon County Over 50 Club, and arts and crafts. April also looks forward to providing programs on topics such as physical activity, nutrition, and mental health. If you have any programming ideas, please share them with April. She can be reached at a.anderson@wrlsweb.org and at 608-637-7151 ext. 7.

You’ll also be able to meet April out in the community where she’ll be representing the library at special events such as the Vernon County Fair, Harvest Fest Parade, Trick or Treating at the Vernon County Fairgrounds, and the Twinklefest Parade. Welcome aboard April!
