VIROQUA, Wis. – As a national grant recipient from the Public Library Association, the McIntosh Memorial Library will be offering two technology workshops using the new Digital Learn Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Basics training materials.

A Microsoft Excel Basics Workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 1:30 p.m.  Class participants will learn how cells, worksheets, and workbooks allow users to manipulate, calculate, and format numbers and other types of data in Excel.

The second workshop scheduled for Thursday, November 30 at 1:30 p.m. will cover Android Mobile Device Basics.  This workshop is for anyone with a new android phone or for someone thinking about purchasing a phone.  The workshop will help learners get connected, identify common apps, and build confidence in using their device safely.

Both workshops will be led by McIntosh Memorial Library Project Coordinator Chris Chroninger.  Registration for both workshops is requested by stopping by or calling the library at 608-637-7151 x 6.
