Viroqua woman suffers minor injuries in car vs. deer accident

COON VALLEY, Wis. – The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Thursday evening, January 18, at approximately 6:00 PM, the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch Center was notified of a vehicle versus deer collision on US Highway 14, near County Road N, rural Coon Valley, WI, in the town of Hamburg.

The driver, Jayme M. Flaig, 34, of Viroqua, Wis. reported minor injuries and was transported to
Gundersen Health System, in La Crosse, Wis., by Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance.

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were the Coon Valley Fire Department, Coon Valley First Responders, and Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance.
