Viroqua Tourism Event Grant applications open through Aug. 31

VIROQUA, Wis. — Nonprofit and volunteer-led organizations planning events that attract visitors to Viroqua can now apply for funding through the City of Viroqua Tourism Event Grant program.

The grant is designed to help organizations promote events that encourage visitors from outside a 50-mile radius to travel to Viroqua and spend time in the community. Funding may be used to help cover marketing and promotional expenses for both new and existing events.

The next application period is open from July 1 through Aug. 31, 2026. Completed applications must be submitted by Aug. 31 to be considered for funding.

Applicants are encouraged to review the program guidelines before submitting an application. Grant materials are available online:

Completed applications should be emailed to infodesk@viroquachamber.com. City officials said late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
