Viroqua man extricated from dump truck after roll-over crash

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. – The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is reports that on Friday, May 31, at approximately 2:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a dump-truck rollover accident on County Highway B near Johnstown Road in the township of Utica.

The Sheriff’s reports states that 49-year-old Trevor Olson of Viroqua, Wis. was operating a loaded dump-truck eastbound on County Road B and lost control, traveled off the roadway, and overturned. Olson was trapped in the truck and had to be extricated by emergency crews. Olson reported minor injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Gays Mills Fire Department, Ocooch Mountain Rescue, Crawford County Highway Department, and La Farge Truck Center.
