Viroqua man and woman face drug charges after Westby traffic stop and search

WESTBY, Wis. – A man and a woman from Viroqua were arrested for drug related charges after a search of their vehicle turned up drugs and drug paraphernalia. According to the Westby Police Department on Thursday, April 4, an officer with the Westby Police Department noticed some suspicious activity by occupants in a vehicle that was parked at a business in the City of Westby. A traffic stop was subsequently made on that vehicle. During the investigation Thomas McKittrick, 59, and Kimberly Sheehan, 53, both from Viroqua were taken into custody. They were both charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of illegally obtained prescription medication and probation holds.

Other charges are being sought through the Vernon County District Attorney’s office. They were both released on $2000 signature bonds. Deputies with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the investigation.
