Viroqua Library to host The Beginner’s Guide to Green Energy

Ethos Green Power Cooperative of Viroqua is excited to announce a special partnership with McIntosh Memorial Library to present The Beginner’s Guide to Green Energy, an informative session designed to demystify green energy technologies. This free event will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 5:30 PM at McIntosh Memorial Library in Viroqua.

If you’ve ever wondered how solar panels work, how large a battery needs to be to power a home, or what a heat pump mini-split is, this session is for you! Ethos Green Power’s team will provide a 45-minute educational presentation to break down these cutting-edge technologies, making them easy to understand. Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain expert insights into the future of green energy.

Ethos Green Power Cooperative is working to provide the highest quality renewable energy services to the rural areas surrounding Viroqua, WI. The cooperative is also striving to create new sustainable jobs for young people, stabilize the cost of electricity, and provide opportunities to move away from depending on fossil fuels.

This event is free and open to the public. It’s an excellent opportunity for anyone curious about how to make the transition to green energy or simply learn more about sustainable technologies.
