VIROQUA, Wis. — Viroqua Community Theatre (VCT) is set to kick off a brand-new programming series with the upcoming production of the dark comedy “Dead Man’s Cell Phone”. The production opens on December 11 and launches VCT’s “After Dark” series, which is a lineup created specifically for adult audiences and bold storytelling.

VCT describes the plat as an offbeat performance that is a compelling exploration of life, death, and connection. Written by Sarah Ruhl, the show dives into the messy, hilarious, and haunting ways people stay connected in an increasingly disconnected world. The story unfolds following strange encounters, unexpected revelations, and one persistently ringing phone.

How to Attend and Get Tickets

The opening night for Dead Man’s Cell Phone is scheduled for December 11 at 7:30 p.m.

VCT is enhancing the experience for its “After Dark” series by offering access to a pre-show cocktail hour beginning one hour before the curtain. Attendees can enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere during this hour. The ticket price includes complimentary snacks provided by Noble Rind, and a cash bar hosted by Vernon Vineyards will also be available.

Tickets for the show can be purchased online at this link.
