VIROQUA, Wis. — Families in Viroqua will have two opportunities to celebrate Halloween later this month, including a community trick-or-treat event at the Vernon County Fairgrounds and traditional neighborhood trick-or-treating throughout the city.
The annual Viroqua Chamber Main Street Trick-or-Treat Event will take place Friday, Oct. 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Vernon County Fairgrounds. The event brings together local businesses and organizations to distribute treats to children in a centralized location.
Businesses interested in participating do not need to register in advance. Organizers say participants can arrive at the fairgrounds beginning at 1:30 p.m. to set up before the event. More than 1,000 children attended the event in 2025, according to city officials.
Traditional residential and neighborhood trick-or-treating in the City of Viroqua is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m.
For additional information about the fairgrounds event, contact the Viroqua Chamber at 608-637-2575.
