Viroqua woman injured in Readstown crash over the weekend

READSTOWN, Wis. – The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office reporter that on Sunday, August 6, at approximately 2:59 .am., the Vernon County 911 Dispatch Center received a call about a two vehicle crash in the Village of Readstown. The sheriff’s office says a vehicle driven by Kelli Jo Welsh, 38, of rural Viroqua was traveling south on Fourth Street in Readstown when she struck a legally parked vehicle that was unoccupied. Both vehicles were towed by Sleepy Hollow Towing due to disabling damage.

Welsch was not wearing her seat belt and reported injuries. Readstown EMS transported Welch to Vernon Memorial Hosptial. Assisting the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Readstown EMS, Readstown Fire, and Sleepy Hollow Towing.
