Vice President Kamala Harris announced she will make her sixth visit to Wisconsin this week and one of her stops will be in La Crosse on Thursday. Harris is scheduled to visit Milwaukee, La Crosse and Green Bay on Thursday, according to the Harris-Walz campaign. The exact details of the Vice-President’s visit have not yet been released.
Wisconsin is a critical swing state and both the Democratic and Republican campaigns have made numerous visits this year. Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are key states to reaching the White House. All three states are ones Trump won in 2016, and then Biden swept up in 2020. Following her visit to Wisconsin Harris will head to Michigan where she will stop in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Oakland County, and Detroit.
On Monday the Vice President’s running-mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will make stops in Eau Claire and Green Bay as the start of a bus tour along with fellow Democratic Governors. Walz will join Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer as they stop in Eau Claire and Green Bay.
