VIROQUA, Wis. — Vernon Health announced plans to move into a new facility in Soldiers Grove, a step officials said would expand access to care for residents of Soldiers Grove and surrounding communities.

The move continued Vernon Health’s commitment to providing care closer to where patients live. Officials said the new location would support expanded services and help meet the needs of local patients and families.
“This move is about more than a building. It is about creating space to provide more care, more access and more support for the people and families we serve,” Vernon Health CEO David Hartberg said. “We are excited for what this new Soldiers Grove location will make possible.”
Vernon Health said the facility was expected to offer primary care, obstetric care and pharmacy services. Additional services were under consideration as the organization continued assessing community needs.
To mark the transition, Vernon Health invited the public to a free, family-friendly celebration held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 2 at the future facility site in Soldiers Grove.
“We wanted our community to be part of celebrating this next step,” Hartberg said. “Our focus remained on providing greater access to the services our communities need while maintaining the compassionate, high-quality care people have come to expect from Vernon Health.”
The organization said additional information about the facility, future services and the project timeline would be released as plans progressed.
