8/30 Sheriff’s deputies and Viroqua officers responded to a residence on Terrace Avenue in the City of Viroqua for a disturbance. A female was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass to Dwelling.
9/1 The Town of Hamburg called to report a one car crash involving a guardrail on County Road K in the Town of Hamburg. The driver reported becoming sleepy behind the wheel. The car sustained very minimal damage and was able to be driven from the scene and the driver reported no injuries.
9/1 Sheriff’s deputies and Viroqua officers responded to a residence on Oak Knoll Drive in the Town of Viroqua for a domestic disturbance.
9/3 The Sheriff’s Office investigated a theft from a produce stand in the Town of Harmony. A suspect was developed and the case was forwarded to the Vernon County District Attorney’s Office.
9/5 A sheriff’s deputy investigated multiple reports of a vehicle swerving all over the road and nearly striking other vehicles southbound along State Highway 35 between Stoddard and Genoa. The vehicle was located and the operator was found to be extremely fatigued, but no signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A family member was called to transport them home.
9/5 A traffic stop on State Highway 35 near County Road BI in the Town of Wheatland resulted in a driver receiving tickets for Operating After Revocation – Alcohol Related, and Ignition Interlock Device Tampering. A licensed passenger drove the vehicle from the scene of the stop.
