The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office announced this week they will be holding our annual employee awards ceremony on Friday, April 25. The ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the Sheriff’s Office Conference & Training Room.
Awards being presented are:
- Telecommunicator of the Year (911 Dispatcher)
- Corrections Officer of the Year
- Employee of the Year
- Law Enforcement Purple Heart
“I would like to thank every member of our Sheriff’s Office Team for what they do every day,” said Sheriff Roy Torgerson. ‘To our team members who took the time to nominate another member of the team—Great Job. I would also like to thank the Awards & Decorations Committee for your recommendations after careful consideration of all nominations. I invite the public come celebrate Vernon County’s most valuable assets, our people.”
