Vernon County Sheriff reports rollover crash on State Highway 27

VIROQUA, Wis. – The Vernon County Sheriff’s Officer reports that on Thursday, January 18, at approximately 9:15 p.m., the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch Center was notified of single-vehicle crash on State Highway 27, near Tainter Hollow Road, rural Viroqua, WI, in the town of Franklin.

According to the Sheriff’s report 24-year-old John W. Pankratz of Prairie du Chien, lost control of his vehicle on the roadway that was snowcovered and overturned. Pankratz did not report any injuries and was not transported.

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office at the scene were the Viroqua Fire Department, Viroqua First Responders, and Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance.
