Vernon County Over 50, a group that provides senior citizen activities in Viroqua and surrounding communities, will be moving to a new location.
The last day of activities to be held at Care Cove, 620 Garfield Ave., Viroqua, will be Wednesday, Nov. 8, when Jim Wedeberg will give a talk about the history of Organic Valley and “It’s Not Just About Dairy.” Wedeberg was one of the original farmers involved with the formation of Organic Valley. His talk will take place at 2:15 p.m.
Starting Monday, Nov. 13, Vernon County Over 50 will move to a new location — the Bethel Home fellowship hall, 620 Rock Ave., Viroqua. Tai Chi exercise will continue every Monday and Wednesday at 1 p.m. and Wednesday speaker presentations will take place at 2:15 p.m. All activities will take place in the new fellowship hall location.
All Wednesday afternoon speaker presentations will continue to be available via Zoom on big-screen TVs at the Ontario, Readstown and Viola Public libraries.
