UW-Madison Professor Jeff Glazer will discuss ‘Protecting Your Work Through Patents’ at the next Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club

The next Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club meeting is will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Food Enterprise Center, 1201 North Main Street, Viroqua.

A critical step in developing a new invention or starting a new business is protecting your intellectual property.  “Protecting Your Work Through Patents” brings Jeff Glazer, a Clinical Professor at UW-Madison Law School where he manages the Rural Entrepreneurship Program at the UW Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic.

Learn about strategies for developing and protecting intellectual property including contracts, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, the patent process and standards for the registration of patents. Networking starts at 5:30 p.m., the program begins at 6:00 p.m. No reservations are required. Everyone is welcome.
