CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. – Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick reports a man and woman were arrested after a k-9 search during a traffic stop turned up narcotics.
A Crawford County Sheriff’s Report states that at approximately 1:11 a.m., on Tuesday, April 29, a traffic stop was conducted on State Highway 60 in the township of Wauzeka. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 59-year-old Kenneth Lippitt of Footville, Wis. The reports states that Lippit had a revoked driver’s license and exhibited signs of drug-related impairment. Richland County Sheriff’s Office K9 was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle ensued, and drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles loaded with liquid methamphetamine were discovered.
Lippitt was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance (2nd Offense), operating while revoked, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. A passenger in the vehicle, Debra Anderson ,54, of Broadhead, Wis. was arrested for possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia.
