The Kickapoo Valley Dark Sky Initiative announces Dark Sky Discovery

The Kickapoo Valley Dark Sky Initiative announces Dark Sky Discovery, events planned in
observance of International Dark Sky Week April 20-27, 2025, a worldwide celebration of
the dark and natural night. The events include Outdoor Lighting Tours, Starry Sky and
Froggy Night Twilight Walks, Stars and Sips Telescope Night Sky Observation, and the
Planet and Dark Sky Discovery Education Program.

The night sky is filled with wonder and awe and is critical to the health and well-being of our planet. Join us as we discover the night together and learn about the planets and stars above us, the harmful effects of light pollution, and actions we can take to embrace the dark and save the night.
