MADISON, Wis. – State Sen. Brad Pfaff (D-Onalaska) has been honored by the Wisconsin Counties Association with a WCA Outstanding Legislator Award for his work on behalf of county government during the 2023-2024 Legislative Session.
“Sen. Pfaff has been a valuable and trusted partner to counties, not just in the 32nd Senate District, but for all of our state,” said WCA President & CEO Mark D. O’Connell. “He has worked alongside our government affairs team on responsible public policy initiatives that will positively impact our state, while keeping the taxpayers in mind.”
The “WCA Outstanding Legislator Award” is handed out biennially to a select group of legislators who have represented county interests in both the legislature and in their districts. These legislators have demonstrated leadership for counties on key issues, legislation and the state budget.
O’Connell concluded, “From working and supporting the shared revenue legislation that will be felt for generations to come to the Milwaukee Brewers local sales tax option, we are incredibly proud to honor Sen. Pfaff with this award.”
