State Sen. Brad Pfaff sworn in for second term

Madison, WI – Yesterday, State Senator Brad Pfaff (D-Onalaska) was sworn in for his second term as State Senator for the 32nd Senate District, which includes La Crosse County, Vernon County, and parts of Monroe and Trempealeau County. Senator Pfaff released the following statement after inauguration:

“I’m extremely humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve people in the communities where I was raised, and am proud to continue my work to grow our economy, strengthen our infrastructure, and support working families.

“I firmly believe that what unites us is greater than what divides us. I look forward to working with my colleagues to improve the lives of Wisconsin families and move our state forward.”

As we reported last week, Pfaff has some new committee assignments as the legislature enters a new session. Pfaff has been appointed to the Committee on Agriculture and Revenue, the Committee on Universities and Technical Colleges, and the Joint Survey Committee on Tax Exemptions. He was also reappointed to serve on the State Building Commission.

Pfaff’s 2021 Committees assignments included Agriculture and Tourism, Economic and Workforce Development, Transportation and Local Government, Universities and Technical Colleges, Utilities/Technology and Telecommunications.

Pfaff’s 2023 Committee assignments included Agriculture and Tourism, Economic Development and Technical Colleges, Insurance and Small Business, Transportation and Local Government, and Utilities and Technology.
