WESTBY, Wis. – The Snowflake Ski Jump in Westby, is a historic ski jumping hill located in Timber Coulee. The ski jump complex at Snowflake consists of six jumps all located in the same area of beautiful Timber Coulee. The largest is a 118 meter Olympic-sized hill used for national and international competitions. The Large Hill Meet is held early each winter and attracts not only U.S. ski jumpers but competitors from around the world. The five smaller hills at the site include a 65 meter hill, as well as smaller 40, 20, 10, and 5 meter hills for training junior jumpers. The junior competition is now held the same weekend as the Big Hill Tournament, so that we can get our fill of ski jumping fun in one big weekend, as well as see the Olympic ski jumpers of the future!
Snowflake has hosted numerous FIS Continental Cup and United States Ski and Snowboard Association ski jumping tournaments. Since 2011, Snowflake has hosted one of the legs of the five-hill U.S. Cup tournament.
If you’re interested in attending, the 2025 Snowflake Ski Jumping Tournament is happening this weekend, with various events and activities planned. You can find more information on the Snowflake Ski Club website.
