The Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch Center was notified at approximately 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, of a single-vehicle crash on County Highway D near Wemmer Hollow Road in the Town of Webster, Wis.
Garret W. Trott, 22, of Blair, Wis., was traveling north and reported experiencing a mechanical problem while negotiating a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and traveled down an embankment.
Trott and his passenger, Bailey L. Ekern, 24, also of Blair, Wis., were transported by La Farge Area Ambulance to Vernon Health in Viroqua, Wis., for evaluation.
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were the La Farge Fire Department and La Farge Area Ambulance.
