Richland County Sheriff reports jail visitor arrested on drug charges

RICHLAND COUNTY, Wis. – Sheriff Clay Porter reports that on Wednesday, June 26 at approximately 7:30 p.m., a Sergeant of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office deployed K9 Aron to perform exterior vehicle sniffs of several vehicles parked in the Richland County Courthouse Parking Lot. While doing so, K9 Aron alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics emitting from one of the vehicles. It was identified that the vehicle belonged to Anna Frazier of Boscobel, who happened to be visiting an inmate at the Richland County Jail. A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted and the authorities located 7.6g Methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia. Frazier was placed under arrest and escorted into the jail.
