New route for the annual Twinklefest Parade

VIROQUA, Wis. —The Viroqua Chamber has announced the new route for the Twinklefest
Parade, which will step off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.

With continued construction in Viroqua’s downtown corridor, the Viroqua Chamber and the City
of Viroqua have developed a new route for the Twinklefest Parade for the 2024 season.

The Twinklefest Parade will begin on Rock Avenue at W. South Street and proceed north along
Rock Avenue, past the McIntosh Memorial Library. The event emcees will entertain and
announce the floats from the library’s courtyard on Rock Avenue. The parade will continue along
Rock Avenue and end at W. Broadway Street. Candy will be handed to spectators by people
walking in the parade.

The Viroqua Chamber encourages spectators to watch the parade along Rock Avenue and to
use the sidewalks to respect the lawns of property owners along the route. The Viroqua
Chamber will send detailed instructions to registered parade float participants on the parade
lineup and tear-down locations.

The 28th Annual Twinklefest Parade is sponsored by Peoples State Bank and Citizens First
Bank.
