April 28, 2025

VERNON COUNTY, Wis. – The National Weather Service modeling show three possible scenarios for our area as weather patterns develop throughout the day today, but the scenario with the highest probability is predicting high winds/hail and the possibility of tornadoes later today.

We will keep track of these conditions as much as possible throughout the day, but we also recommend following the National Weather Service Facebook page and the Vernon County Emergency Management Facebook page.

You can also find information on the Vernon County Emergency Management webpage.

You can signup for the county emergency alert system NIXLE that will sent alerts directly to your phone here. Text your ZIP code to 888777 to opt-in or sign-up to stay informed on critical events that directly affect you.
