CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. — A Minnesota man faces felony charges after deputies in Crawford County stopped a vehicle traveling in the wrong lane late Saturday night.
Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick reported that the traffic stop occurred at approximately 11:56 p.m. on Jan. 24. Deputies located the vehicle on State Highway 35 near State Highway 82 in the Town of Freeman.
Clyde Greybull, 66, of Waite Park, Minnesota, was identified as the operator of the vehicle. The sheriff said the driver appeared intoxicated during the encounter. “Greybull exhibited signs of impairment and refused to perform standardized field sobriety testing,” said McCullick.
A K9 unit named Diego was deployed and alerted to the presence of controlled substances. Authorities searched the vehicle and discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Greybull was arrested and booked into the Crawford County Jail. He faces charges of eighth offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence as well as possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies also issued citations for multiple traffic violations including operating left of center and operating without a valid license. The sheriff noted that the driver was cited for failure to wear a seat belt and having no insurance.
Milo’s Towing Service assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene. The department emphasized that the case has not yet gone to trial.
“All individual(s) are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” said McCullick.

If he hasn’t learned by now, I don’t think he will lock him up and protect the public
