Media Conversion Kits return to McIntosh Memorial Library

Beginning Thursday, November 21, 2024, McIntosh Memorial Library is excited to offer patrons the opportunity to preserve their treasured memories by utilizing media conversion kits. These kits will allow individuals to convert VHS tapes to DVDs and 35mm film and slides to digital formats.

The kits will be available for use daily at the library through December 21, 2024. Patrons can reserve a time to use the kits by visiting the library’s website at www.mcintoshmemoriallibrary.org, navigating to the Reservations tab, and selecting Equipment Reservations.

Patrons who wish to use the kits must provide their own DVDs and memory sticks and adhere to all copyright restrictions. This service is available at no charge, thanks to generous funding from the Winding Rivers Library System and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

For more information or to reserve a time, please visit the library’s website or contact the Adult Programming and Outreach Coordinator Maggie Strittmater at m.strittmater@wrlsweb.org or call 608-637-7151 ext. 7.
