McIntosh Memorial Library to host Positive Puberty Series

VIROQUA, Wis. -The McIntosh Memorial Library staff along with local, caring, professional women physicians, counselors, and teachers will be offering Positive Puberty Classes at the McIntosh Memorial Library in Viroqua. The classes, designed for girls ages 9-12, will be held on Thursdays beginning February 8th through February 29th (Leap Day) from 5:30-6:30pm in the program room. Girls may attend independently or be accompanied by an adult woman.

Youth Services Director Laci Sheldon says, “The classes will cover a variety of topics specific to girlhood puberty and will be keeping it positive through informed discussions and creative activities.”

Registration is required and can be completed online on the library website at www.mcintoshmemoriallibrary.org under Youth Programs. We encourage those who sign up to attend all 4 classes.
