Viroqua, Wis.—The McIntosh Memorial Library will host a Beginning Woodcarving Class on Saturday, October 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the program room. During the class, participants will learn essential woodcarving techniques in a supportive and creative environment. The class is for beginners looking to develop their skills and explore the world of woodcarving.

Participants are encouraged to bring their tools, if possible, to enhance the experience.

Registration for the class is required as space and materials are limited.  To register, visit www.mcintoshmemoriallibrary.org. The registration form is under the Adult Programs tab.

This hands-on workshop will be led by experienced volunteer woodcarvers John Sutton, Judy Gates, Carson Labelle, Wayne Robson, and Randy Dahlen.

For more woodcarving opportunities, check out programs at the Bekkum Memorial Library in Westby and the Knutson Memorial Library in Coon Valley, as this class will be traveling to bring as many people as possible the opportunity to learn.
