VIROQUA, Wis. — McIntosh Memorial Library of Viroqua is pleased to once again be able to host a special series of ukulele lessons for youth led by local musician and instructor Ted Parrish. Designed for young learners, these hands-on musical lessons will encourage children to explore rhythm, melody, and basic ukulele techniques in a welcoming and creative environment.
The two-month program is open to children ages 8-18 and will take place on the 2nd and 4th Mondays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. during Sept. and Oct. at the library. Ukuleles will be provided for all participants who need one for the classes. Space is limited, and registration is required by visiting www.mcintoshmemoriallibrary.org.
Ted Parrish is a beloved figure in the local music scene, known for his talent, warmth, and passion for sharing music with youth. His ukulele lessons are interactive, accessible, and focused on building confidence through music. Ted is the owner of Parrish Music in downtown Viroqua.
