McIntosh Memorial Library author talk: From Urban Indian to Wounded Knee, A Native American Story

The McIntosh Memorial Library in partnership with Vernon County Over 50, is excited to announce an author talk with Viroqua author Michael Day (Kunu), author of the novel Everett LoneWolf. The event will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 2:15 PM in the McIntosh Memorial Library Lobby.

In this thought-provoking talk, Michael Day will discuss his new book, Everett LoneWolf, a gripping fictional account of the life of an urban Indian who grew up in Chicago, served in Vietnam, met a medicine man, and experienced the historic 1973 Wounded Knee Occupation. The author will share his personal journey, the inspirations behind the novel, and the powerful themes of Native American identity, resilience, and history explored in the book.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of Everett LoneWolf directly from the author.

This event is free and open to the public, and all are invited to attend for an insightful afternoon with the author.
