McIntosh Library to host environmental solutions presentation with EnviroScape

July 20, 2025

The McIntosh Memorial Library is partnering with the Valley Stewardship Network for an interactive youth program. “Nature in Action: Exploring the EnviroScape” workshop will be held on Monday, August 11 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the library program room.

Led by Beth Summers the Executive Director of Valley Stewardship Network this hands-on program will introduce youth to real-world environmental challenges such as pollution and erosion – while empowering them to build creative solutions like wetlands, buffers, and dry dams. Summers will be using an EnviroScape during the program. An EnviroScape is a molded plastic model of a watershed complete with various types of land use including residential, transportation, agricultural, construction, recreation and forestry areas

Located in Viroqua, Valley Stewardship Network works to protect our land and waters through research, education, and community empowerment.
