RICHLAND COUNTY, Wis. – Richland County Sheriff Clay Porter reported this week that an investigation resulting from two CyberTips they received as an affiliate member of the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce resulted in the arrest of a Lone Rock man.
According to Sheriff Porter, on Dec. 9, deputies completed a search warrant as a result of this investigation. Following the execustion of that search warrant deputies took into custody, Talan G. Miller, 19, of Lone Rock on three counts of possession of child pornography, and one count of felony bail jumping. At the time of this arrest, Miller was serving a diversion agreement for similar acts that generated a CyberTip in May 2023.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this investigation by Wisconsin ICAC Taskforce, Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI)-Digital Evidence Unit (DEU), and Richland Center Police Department.
