VIROQUA, Wis. — On March 27, the Hugs from Hunter Foundation generously donated teddy bears and security blankets to Vernon Health. These comfort items will be given to pediatric patients during hospital or emergency room visits to help ease anxiety and provide emotional support.
The Hugs from Hunter Foundation’s mission is to comfort children experiencing anxiety, trauma or crisis. The organization donates bears and blankets to several healthcare systems throughout the region, and Vernon Health is now among the recipients.
