SENECA, Wis. — A hit-and-run crash involving a Ford F-250 pickup truck occurred Sunday night on State Highway 27 near Snyder Road, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened around 8:06 p.m. when the pickup slowed for a turning vehicle and was rear-ended by a tan-colored Buick LeSabre, believed to be from the late 1990s or early 2000s. The sedan fled northbound at high speed, entered Mount Sterling, and nearly struck a pedestrian while turning onto West Street.

Crawford County Crime Stoppers urges anyone with information to call 326-8933 or 1-866-779-PAYS. Tips remain anonymous, and rewards of up to $1,000 may be issued for information leading to an arrest, charges, or recovery of stolen property.
