LA CROSSE, Wis. Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse invites women throughout the Coulee Region to volunteer for Women Build, a three-day opportunity to help build homes for a local family. This year, Women Build will take place on March 14, 15, and 16 at construction sites in both Tomah and La Crosse.

A global Habitat for Humanity tradition since 1991, Women Build offers hands-on skill-building opportunities for women, who not only are underrepresented in the construction industry, but also face unique barriers when trying to access safe, affordable housing.

Habitat La Crosse believes in the power of collaboration and community. Over the course of the event, Women Build volunteers will play an important role in the lives of soon-to-be homeowners.

Volunteers may sign up for a full or half day. We encourage volunteers to create a team of friends or family and volunteer together. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.

All are welcome to participate in this day of service, learning, and team building. To learn more about Women Build and sign up to volunteer, visit www.habitatlacrosse.org/events/women-build-2024/.
