EASTMAN, Wis. – Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick says a 23-year-old man from Eastman faces numerous charges, including drug related charges and domestic battery following an incident that started in the Village if Eastman on Saturday.
According to a Sheriff’s Department Report the Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault at an apartment in the Village of Eastman around 3:20 on Saturday morning. The report states that ed Jayden O’Dell of Eastman had already departed from the apartment in a pickup truck prior to the arrival of law enforcement. O’Dell’s pickup truck was later located, and a traffic stop was conducted on Shanghai Ridge Road. Officers report O’Dell exhibited signs of drug-related impairment. He was taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and domestic related battery.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Prairie du Chien Police Department.
