Earth Day stewardship event planned at Wildcat Mountain State Park

ONTARIO, Wis. — Friends and families are invited to celebrate Earth Month during a stewardship event at Wildcat Mountain State Park on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Park staff and the Friends of Wildcat Mountain State Park will host the annual volunteer event from 9 a.m. to noon. Activities may include tree planting, campground and trail cleanup, invasive species removal, picnic table maintenance and litter cleanup.

Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear and bring work gloves. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends group. Volunteers are invited to stay and enjoy the park following the event.

The event will be held at Wildcat Mountain State Park, E13660 Highway 33, Ontario.
