Crawford County traffic stop results in drug arrest

 
PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. – Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that on Tuesday, Jan. 14, that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the City of Prairie du Chien. The driver was identified as Michael Fisher, 61, of Prairie du Chien.

According to the Sherrifs’ report, Fisher exhibited signs of impairment. A search was conducted and methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were discovered. Michael Fisher was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Prairie du Chien Police Department.
