Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrests three people on drug related charges after traffic stop

According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, May 7, at approximately 9:53 p.m., Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that a traffic stop on US Highway 61 in the Township of Marietta. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Geramia Swadley, 43, of Soldiers Grove, Wis. and his passengers as Jourdan Womack, 28, and Corben Eck, 21, of Platteville, Wis. 

During the stop, a Grant County Sheriff’s Office K9 was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine. Also, Womack was discovered to have drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine on her person.  

Swadley was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a restricted controlled substance – fourth offense, operating a motor vehicle while revoked, and two counts of felony bail jumping. Womack was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Eck was arrested on an active warrant. 

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Boscobel Police Department, and the Terry’s Tire & Tow Service.
