CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. – Sheriff Dale McCullick Reports on Monday, December 4 at approximately 3:45 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one-vehicle traffic crash on Buck Creek Road in the Township of Freeman.
Raydenna Knutson, 71, of Ferryville, was operating a sports utility vehicle westbound on Buck Creek Road. While negotiating a curve Knutson lost control, over-corrected, and crashed into a ditch. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and Knutson escaped injury. Knutson was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Ferryville Fire Department, Ferryville First Responders, Ocooch Mountain Rescue, and Bob’s Towing Service.
Town of Prairie du Chien accident
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office also reports that on Friday, December 8, at approximately 6:40 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one-vehicle traffic crash on Limery Road in the Township of Prairie du Chien.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Adrick Nemec-Wagner, 18, of Prairie du Chien was operating a pickup truck east on Limery Road. While negotiating a curve he lost control, traveled off the roadway and overturned. The Sheriff’s Office says the road surface was slippery due to frost at the time of the crash. The truck sustained moderate damage and Nemec-Wagner was not injured.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Prairie du Chien Police Department, Bridgeport Fire Department, Bridgeport First Responders, and Milo’s Towing Service.
