Crawford County Sheriff’s office receives radio grant from 3M company

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. -The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office announced today it has received a grant funding from company called Crossroads, a 3M Company affiliate.

The Sheriff’s Office says the $2500 grant will make it possible for the Crawford County Emergency Response Team to purchase radio headset equipment. Emergency Management personnel say this equipment will enhance the capabilities of the Response Team members to communicate more effectively while on the scene in critical incidents.

These headsets allow deputies to clearly communicate during high volume incidents where it would be difficult to hear each other if only using a handheld radio.

The Sheriff’s Office goes on to day this grant assures our Emergency Response Team can use the best equipment possible to keep the citizens of Crawford County safe.
